Review:

Myth:

A paranormal world, but the paranormal, those with talents, live apart from the rest of humanity. The tension in this book is so palpable, and it’s so amazing. The MC seems like a brat a lot of the time, but since we’re in her head, we also get to see that she’s playing a role she’s assigned herself. I can’t adequately explain how well this works for the story.

Magic:

Book one is all about what our main character ran from and what she’s hiding. It's so well done, though, hooking you for the rest of the series. All I’m saying is don’t expect a ton of magic in this one.

Overall:

I don’t know what higher praise I can offer, other than that I started the next book immediately. I listened to the audiobook for the first one and Kasi Hollowell was EVERYTHING as the narrator. I started book 2 on audio as well, but honestly, you’ll see in that review—I was too obsessed with the series and needed to read faster than the audiobooks could take me.
