Myth:
Very high/epic fantasy in storytelling style but still completely accessible for the reader. Kissen was my favorite character. She was the classic mercenary with a chip on her shoulder and grumpy energy for days. The cast around her hold their own secrets, and their stories weave unfold together into an epic adventure.
Magic:
The magic of the gods is forbidden, and the gods are extinguished in all but the dead city. So, of course, that’s where our characters head. The gods are over certain domains, like rivers, oceans, hearths, midwives, etc.
Overall:
What a powerful ending! I can’t wait to see what happens next.
