Myth:
“I wasn’t under the impression you were min to have anywhere at all.”
“Oh.” Lethe dipped into purring, a smirk winding up in the corner of his mouth. “Then you haven’t been paying attention, it seems.”
How could we not adore a relationship build like this? Lethe added such a unique twist to the overall story. This world continues to be a favorite of mine, and I’m eager to dive back into it. The exploration of Arlo’s grief in this is one of the best written I’ve seen. With the dramatic ending of book two, everyone has to figure out their place in Rhiadne’s new world. A story of twist and turn and big reveals, I can’t recommend this series enough.
Magic:
A little more gods and immortals lore was added to the mix with this installment (which is a favorite of mine). But we also still get quite a bit of more traditional fae magic and the D&D dice magic that we’ve all come to expect!
Overall:
This installment was the best yet! I was so in love with the character arcs, the reveals, the relationships. It was an exquisite setup for the series conclusion.
