This book dives into the epic fantasy plot that Raven Kennedy has been hinting at. It was so interesting to finally get to Annwyn after everything. Of course, now we’re here, and we don’t want to be because we want Slade and Auren to find each other. It’s a delightful reader tension.
Magic: 5/5
I love that Auren gets to be the master of her magic now. After years of not thinking she could or thinking it was up to someone else to dictate, she’s in control of herself and her heritage. It’s so perfect.
Overall: 5/5
You’ll want to rush through this book, and though it’s over 500 pages, I was turning them like a fiend. But of course, as soon as I finished, I needed the next one! So take your time and enjoy the ride and everything that Raven Kennedy has built to over Auren’s story.
